432 Stairs, Oh My God!

For about two years ago, I had an unfoergettable vacation with my friends in Central Java. We visited Sunan Muria tomb at Colo Village in Kudus City. It was one of my school programs, a religion vacation. We left in the early morning from our school. It was very pleasant vacation too because I could have visited another part of Java and also it was the first time for me to have a chance like that.

My imagery about that place for the first time was just like another another Sunan tomb. It was located on the ground that  is surrounded by a big and  beautiful gate and sometimes we can see the tomb itself there. But i was wrong. Sunan Muria located on the MuriaMountain and it was hidden in a small wooden closed room so that we cannot see the tomb clearly. People who visited there usually used some motorcycles that already have procided as a public transportation to go up in Muria Mountain. It was the one and only transportation there.

Unfortunately, my friends and I were forbidden to use that public transportation with my teacher. One of them said that we had to have a new experience and new energy because of it. My friends and I walked up on 432 stairs in several hours. Along the way there washundreds of store in the left side and right side, so  that we can drop in one of store to take a rest for a moment and continue our journey then. It was tiring for us and a very long trip too.

432 stairs were not a few. It was a large number of starirs that i have ever counted. Besides, it equals a number of floors in a hotel i think. I sweated all the time along my little journey, while my friends' looks were not pretty too as before. It was funny. We laughed together when we see each other face. However, some of my teachers who attained their age rode some motorcycles well. As we can see that they seemed to did not have much energy to walk up to the mountain. They were not young anymore and Yes. We realized that we would be like them in the future. Besides, we did not want anything bad happens to them along our little journey. We arrived at tweleve in the afternoon. Several hours later we were going down by foot again. But, it was not difficult as we were going up to the Muria Mountain. It was little bit easy because we did not spend much energy as before.

We continued our trip by bus to another Sunan tomb at three o'clock in the evening after we gathered inside the bus and assured that none of us was missing. I remembered how much my struggle to reach that tomb and some moments in Muria Mountain. :)
